Physiotherapists get you moving and keep you moving. Physiotherapists are highly-educated experts in physical function, movement and mobility. They have advanced knowledge of how the human body moves and what stops it moving. Physiotherapists use specialized hands-on treatment to restore, maintain and maximize optimal function and quality of life. Physiotherapists:

Assess, diagnose and treat physical symptoms and limited movement caused by injury, aging, disability, or health condition.
Help patients understand what’s causing their condition.
Work with patients to restore, maintain and maximize movement, flexibility and physical independence.
Develop customized treatment plans that help patients take back control.
Teach patients how to restore, maintain and/or maximize movement, reduce pain, and manage any chronic symptoms.
Teach patients how to stay well, avoid future injury and achieve the best quality of life they can.
Physiotherapists excel in the treatment of many conditions including (but not limited to) back pain/injury, whiplash, pregnancy-related muscle/joint issues, urinary incontinence and vertigo to name a few. They also help patients manage symptoms of chronic conditions like arthritis and chronic pain.

Physiotherapists help patients who may have otherwise tried temporary (e.g., prescription drugs) or more invasive methods (e.g., surgery) to manage their condition. They use individualized therapeutic exercise, manual therapy and other treatment techniques.

Physiotherapists requires that the patient is involved and engaged in the recovery process, as success is often dependent on the patient’s commitment to the process.

Biofeedback Practitioner

I was born and raised in Hanna Alberta. In 2010, I graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in Houston Texas and have been practicing in central Alberta ever since. Experiencing medical rotations in upper extremity orthopedics, neurosurgery, nutrition and learning from the experience of numerous different chiropractors has enabled the unique perspective to accelerate patient healing. I have a passion to treat individuals and families in the community with chiropractic, I am continually taking courses every year to further my knowledge. In 2016 I completed my Acupuncture studies to further help my patients. My goal is to empower people towards optimal health. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my wife Jacquie and boys Collin, Joey and Sam.

I also have a chiropractic clinic in the great community of Trochu.

I first became a Registered Massage Therapist in 2005 and have loved all massage has had to offer. I believe body work can have such an impact on clients both mentally and physically. Over the years I have worked in both Spa and Massage Clinic settings but never a Chiropractic Clinic. I am very much looking forward to all there is to learn from this new atmosphere. Modalities that work well together being offered under the same roof makes sense and couldn’t be more convenient for clients.

When I am not massaging, I am usually staying busy with my family. We are all horse crazy so most of the time we are out horse back riding!

Treatments I offer are relaxation, therapeutic, prenatal and dynamic cupping massage.

Joint mobilizations are useful to help joint stiffness, mobility and range of motion for the joints. My name is Stacy and I live just outside of Bowden with my family. My extended members of the family include 2 cats, 5 dogs and 6 horses! I was born and raised in northern BC where my family are active in logging and farming. In 2012 I moved to Airdrie with my children for just a few short years as I discovered I was not meant to live in an urban area, I am a country bumpkin through and through! Shortly thereafter, I moved to Crossfield where I then decided that I was going to enroll in Massage therapy school. That was it for me! I found my calling! I graduated with full Honors from MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy in 2017. I actually started working as an associate MT in 2016 and taking continuing education courses as well. Since graduating I have continued taking continuing ed in RAPID NFR, Myofascial Cupping and PBMT (Photobiomodulation). I ran my own successful practice from 2017 to 2023 in Crossfield. In 2021 I met the man of my wildest dreams from Red Deer, which is what brought me to Bowden… nothing like meeting half-way. I am currently a level 3 Core Specialist in RAPID, have my Advanced Myofascial cupping certification and am working on the advanced certification in PBMT, Level 4 RAPID coming soon! My treatments focus on biomechanics and compensatory patterns caused by musculoskeletal dysfunction and trauma (physical and mental). I feel that I am best suited to assist those who are wanting a more therapeutic and deep tissue treatment but I don’t mind doing a relaxation treatment here and there. In 2019 I started researching PBMT… it actually blew my mind on the clinical effects it has on so many different ailments, not just for humans but animals as well. It is simply amazing and I can not express the extraordinary results that PBMT can produce! My system is the Bioflex Duo Professional (One of the leading 3B Laser manufacturers in the world). It is a class 3B laser which uses red light and near infrared. There are virtually no side effects, it is non-invasive, and has very few contraindications. I am very excited to offer this service to Innisfail and the surrounding area!
